How Personalization Works in Shopia

Personalize the AI to write in your brand voice and knowledge.

Personalization is key to creating content that connects with your audience and reflect’s your brand’s unique identity.

Shopia allows you to tailor the AI’s writing style, tone, and knowledge helping you ensure every piece of content aligns with your company's brand, services, and overall business.

To personalize the AI, there are 3 ways to give the AI context about your company:

  1. Company Profile

  2. Voice

  3. Knowledgebase

1. Providing Context

1.1 Company Profile

Company Profile allows you to provide Shopia's AI with an overview of your business. When any piece of content is generated, this information is used as context to ensure AI outputs are aligned with your business rather than being more generic.

Include information about who your company is, what it does, and who it is for. You can also provide extra information about your products/services, pricing, and more.

Note that Company Profile must be enabled to provide the AI this context (shown below).

1.2 Voice

Voice, also referred to as Writing Style, is a way to define how you want the AI to write.

If you want the AI to follow your company's brand guidelines, then creating one or more Voices is important.

For each Voice, you can describe the following:

  • Tone

  • Point of view (e.g. passive or active)

  • Detailed description of the writing style

  • Target audience

The AI will do its best to incorporate these guidelines whenever this Voice is used.

Depending on your business, you may want to have a separate Voice for different types of content such as articles, ads, sales copy, and more.

How to add a Voice

To add a Voice, navigate to Settings > Brand Assets > Voices.

You can add a Voice in two ways (Highlighted below):

  • Automatically by analysing your content

  • Manually

To automatically define a Voice, click + Add Voice and upload your content. Shopia will will analyze this content and write a detailed description of your Voice for you. Review the generated Voice and save it to use later.

Alternatively, you can manually define your voice by clicking + Add Voice Manually. Simply, give it a name and write a description in the fields shown below then save.

1.3 Knowledgebase

The knowledgebase allows you to add company files, URLs and documents. Shopia will analyze these resources and allow you these resources in a few ways:

Smart Search uses your Knowledgebase to help you query your URLs and documents. You can simply ask a question, and Shopia will instantly find the relevant content from your Knowledgebase resources.

In Shopia Chat, you can enable Knowledgebase mode. This mode allows you to chat with an AI about the resources in your knowledgebase.

Document Editor AI

You can use AI to write or edit your document. However, you can define the AI's knowledge by selecting specific resources in your Knowledgebase. To do this, open a document, click on the Tools dropdown, and open Content brief.
