SEO reports provide you with actionable insights and tools to help you create content that will rank on Search engines like Google.


Creating an SEO report

Accessing reports from The Article Wizard

SEO reports when generating a single article are typically done on the first step of the step-by-step article generator. This is so each step can be optimized for SEO.

To learn how SEO reports can help optimize your article once you've generated it, skip to the 'viewing your score' section.

Accessing reports for an existing Document

Head to the ‘SEO’ tab of any Document using the left-menu.

Generating the report

To begin the report you simply add a focus keyword - the main search term in Google you would like this article to rank for:

Once we’re ready we click ‘CREATE REPORT’. This can take a minute to process.

Metrics Tab - Viewing your score and guidelines

Once our report is generated we can see how our document content (right) compares to key SEO metrics (left) based on the top Google results for your target keyword & region.

Right now our content score is 89 and the average Google result has a score of 85.

Top pages

Research top google results content to find content ideas.

Topic gaps

Shopia will analyze any topics that are covered in competitor pages and are not currently covered in your article.

Keywords

View a breakdown of your keyword usage score. Identify which keywords are missing from your article title, headers and content.

Find common links used by competitors and how the use them within their content

FAQs

Find FAQs from different data-sources. Add these FAQs to your content using AI

Meta

Manage & generate metadata using AI

Optimizing your content

We should aim to at least be above the average score by using the guidelines provided.

Using the SEO tabs

The SEO tabs provided in the previous section are packed full of useful information to research the top Google results and help you write the best content possible.


You can also find many tools within each tab that can be used to generate optimized content with AI.

Using Auto-Optimize

The most simple approach to improving your content score is simply using Shopia's Auto-Optimize feature. Shopia will generate and execute a plan to fulfill the reports guidelines and consequently improve your article's content score.

You can then see a side-by-side comparison of your original article (left) and the optimized version (right):

Use the checkboxes to confirm if you prefer the result and then click 'Save' to finalize any changes.

Updating your score

Once we have made changes to our article, we can check our new content score by clicking 'Refresh scores' in the top right:

Keeping your content up to date

Updating Google data & guidelines

From the metrics tab we view when our SEO report was last updated. By clicking the refresh icon.

Refreshing willl analyze the most recent Google results and update competitor metrics and guidelines.

Updating your internal links (coming soon)

As your website expands there will be more opportunities to add useful internal links to your existing content.
