Shopia automations allows you to build AI tools that are connected to the internet and the software you already use.
Shopia comes with 100's of templates that can be used to automate your work.
In this guide we will learn the basics of setting up your first automation.
Creating a new automation
The easiest way to create an automation from the dashboard is via the quick action:
Choosing a template
You will be sent to view Shopia’s automation templates. There are two main categories, 'marketing' and 'sales'. In this example we'll choose the 'Ad variations' template:
Templates are fully customizable and you can even build your own. Learn more about building templates

Testing a template
You will be sent to the 'run' tab:
In the 'run' tab you can try out this template. This template requires one input, 'product URL'. We can see this automation has 5 steps, resulting in 5 outputs:
Let's run this automation - we can see the outputs have been generated:
These outputs are automatically saved in your table. Next we'll look at how we can manage a large number of runs from the 'table' tab.
Using the table
Clicking on the ‘table’ tab we can manage our automation runs.
Here we can see a new row was created from the test run we did in the previous step:
Upload a CSV
You can upload a CSV list of tasks to perform. Each row in your CSV should have the inputs to run an automation.
In this example each row must have 1 column, 'Product URL'. We'll make an example list in Google Sheets and export it as a CSV.
Head back to your table in Shopia and click 'upload CSV':
Exporting your results
To export a CSV of your entire table, simply click on the button in the top-right:
Using the API
Alternatively we can run our automation using our API. Click through to the ‘API’ tab. Here you can select see code examples for multiple coding languages:
API limits
Maximum 1 request every 5 seconds.
Please note the API will not save outputs inside your Shopia account, but rather the outputs are to be used and stored externally however you wish.
