When generating text using Shopia Automations, we can default to our user output language however we must ensure that it is referenced in the prompt.
Output language for Shopia templates
All Shopia templates when using text generation have been made to use your user output language settings by default.
Please refer to settings - output language for changing your user output language.
API language settings
Shopia API will default to English unless you have customized your workflow to specify the output language you want for each step. Please refer to the next section on how you can edit each text generation steps language settings.
Customizing the output language on a workflow step:
Sometimes we don't want the output language to be dependant on our user settings for e.g translation workflows. To change the language settings for a given step click on the pencil icon in the top right:
Next go to the 'prompts & inputs' tab. Here we can see that the language is set to [language]. This notation indicates we want to use our user settings for the output language:
This can simply be changed to e.g Spanish by replacing [language] with Spanish and clicking 'Save prompt':
